Address: 225 W Douglas Ave. Wichita, KS 67202

On Thursday, April 25th, 2019 the Old Town Walkabout kicks off the 24th Annual Midwest Winefest. It initiates three days of events for food and wine lovers in Wichitas premier entertainment district, the historic Old Town area. There is great music, food, beers, ciders, and spirits, something for everyone for a great philanthropic cause.
The Walkabout starts at the original Farm and Art Market plaza and includes many wonderful venues stretching from the original plaza to the newer plaza north of Second Street. Participating venues include restaurants, bars and museums. At each stopping point you can taste a wine or two and sample a scrumptious, wine-friendly bite of food in an incredibly fun venue.
The stroll from one location to another is filled with lively music to heighten your enjoyment. You will love visiting new places, re-visiting old favorites, and sampling new wines with tasty appetizers with new and fun people.
Midwest Winefest Grand Tasting Stroll, Wichitas regional premier wine event, is held Saturday, April 27th, 2019 at Century II. Much like the Old Town Walkabout, attendees meander through an abundance of wine, food, and vendor spaces. Each area represents a type of wine, country, or region. Whether you already have preferences or you are looking for new favorites, this is the event to attend. You have over 300 wines to enjoy and 40+ of Wichita's best chefs!
The Grand Tasting is a casual, fun event where you can stroll through Century II enjoying good wine, great food, and friends all under one roof. Your stroll through the wines of multiple countries and regions needs no passport just a ticket gets you into the wine event of the year! Come, taste and see. Where flavor is at the center of it all.
Every year, winemakers showcases their winery during the Celebrity Wine Dinners. This year, there are two opportunities to enjoy wine, food and great company. On April 27th attend a Celebrity Winemaker Dinner for a delicious five-course meal and wine pairing with personal interaction and conversation with one of the best winemakers of our time.
