The Children's Small Mall is designed for kids 3 to 13 years old to do their own holiday shopping for family, friends and teachers in a secure environment.

This fun filled event will be held on Sat. Dec. 7, 9 am to 5 pm and Sun. Dec. 8, 10 am to 4 pm.

Children love this event as it allows them to pick out something they think their loved ones will want without the presence of a parent and the gift comes from the heart.

For the first time shoppers and parents it is important for the child and the parent to know what to expect so our "Head Elf' explains the process.

Prior to the child entering the shopping area a list is completed with the names, ages and dollar amount for each gift on the list. The gifts are $3, $5 or $7 and prepaid.

Our volunteer elves escort each little shopper with their gift list into the shopping area were the gifts are arranged according to category and price. For the shopper it can be exciting and overwhelming trying to make a decision on that perfect gift.

We have a wide selection of items to choose from. For women jewelry is popular along with scarves, candles and so much more. For dad or grandpa there are tools, flashlights and calendars to name a few gifts. For the sweet tooth we have sweets and baking gift sets.We have teen gifts as well as toys, books, stuffed animals and games for the siblings.

When the shopping is complete each child receives a free ride on the 1913 carousel, (photo op) a bag of Magic Reindeer Food, movies and access to the Kid's Craft Corner to make awesome ornaments.

Parents while waiting for your shoppers browse through the crafts, gifts and baked goods available for purchase and check out the sports cooler, women's basket and kid's tent raffles.
