Veteran’s Day Freebies You Won’t Want to Miss

Veterans This year, Veteran’s Day falls on Saturday, November 11. Although many of us are not veterans ourselves, most of us do have a veteran in our life. And as a special thank you to our U.S. Armed Forces, many businesses offer free or discounted meals, admissions, and services.

So whether the veteran is you or someone you love, be sure to check out this list of seven Veteran’s Day specials. And if you don’t see your favorite restaurant on there keep checking. Businesses will continue to announce specials as we get closer to the actual date.

Thank you for your service and enjoy!

IHOP

If you are a veteran, breakfast is on IHOP! Stop by and get their famous red, white, and blue pancakes (yummy buttermilk pancakes topped with blueberry and strawberry toppings and whipped cream) for free between 7 AM and 7 PM.

Note: This year they are serving breakfast on Friday, November 10.

Kansas City Zoo

If you and your family are looking for something to do on Veteran’s Day, be sure to stop by the Kansas City Zoo. The Zoo is offering free admission to all veterans and family members living in the same household.

Red Robin

Be sure to head to Red Robins for lunch — veterans will receive a free Red’s Tavern Double Burger and bottomless steak fries.

Village Inn

Village Inn is offering all veterans and active military free breakfast all day on November 11. You can choose any four items from their V.I.B. menu to create your own breakfast.

Bonefish Grill

To celebrate Veteran’s Day, Bonefish Grill is offering free Bang Bang Shrimp appetizers to veterans and active military members. It is possible that not all locations are participating so be sure to check with the restaurant in your area first.

Great Clips

If you need a haircut then Great Clips has you covered. All veterans that visit Great Clips on November 11 will receive either a free haircut or a free haircut card to redeem another time.

Bonus: Friends and family can purchase a haircut and then receive one free haircut card to give to the veteran in their life.

Applebees

Applebees has been giving away free meals to veterans since 2008 and it is actually one of their busiest days of the year. Stop by for dinner and check out their special Veteran’s Day menu choices.
