Crown Center

The Country Club Plaza

The Plaza is perfect for anyone looking to turn their shopping excursion into an all-day event. It spans over 15 blocks and offers more than 150 stores and dozens of incredible restaurants.

The shops open at 10 AM during the week and there are a ton of great stores like Athleta, H&M, and Sperry. And if you get tired from all the walking you can opt to take a horse-drawn carriage ride and take in the sights instead.

And if you get burnt out on shopping, Zona Rosa has tons of other events and activities going on. You can head over to the KC Yoga Center for some exercise or enjoy a few laughs at The Kansas City Improv Comedy Club and Dinner Theatre.

The Legends Outlets

At the Legends, you can dig through dozens of brand-name labels at a fraction of what it would normally cost you. Find amazing deals at stores like Brooks Brothers, Nike, and Polo Ralph Lauren. And when you’re done, you can rejuvenate at one of the many nearby restaurants.

Brookside Shops

If you are looking for a less commercialized feel but still enjoy the retail experience, you will love the Brookside shops.  Originally built in the 1920’s, the Brookside shops have a ton of unique independently owned store.

And the wide, tree-lined sidewalks give the area a cozy, neighborly feel to it. Pick up some all-natural dog treats from the Brookside Barkery or take the kids to Brookside Toy & Science. Plus, there are several galleries you can visit and numerous restaurants where you can stop for a bite to eat.
