AboutAbout Us

It's Only Natural is a one-of-a-kind shop and shopping experience in Kansas City. It is Kansas City's only Eco-Boutique offering the latest eco and fair trade fashions in all the most fabulous and luxurious eco-fabrics: Organic Cotton, Bamboo, Soy, Tencel, Silk, Hemp, Merino, and Alpaca.  The shop offers friendly and experienced assistance for a thoroughly enjoyable shopping experience.   It's Only Natural started with eco-fashion, but quickly expanded the vision for the shop in response to customers' growing eco-awareness. It's Only Natural now also offers many items for a complete eco-lifestyle: chemical-free mattresses, luxurious organic cotton sheets and towels, BPA-free stainless and glass sport water bottles, organic face care, body care and all natural make-up.   For babies and children, It's Only Natural carries the most adorable organic fashions and basics for ages 3 months to 8 years old. But in addition, there is almost everything a parent needs to create a pure and natural nursery like non-toxic hand-crafted wood cribs, chemical-free crib mattresses, organic cotton sheets and towels, BPA-free baby bottles and sippy cups, organic cotton cloth diapers, non-toxic hand-crafted wooden toys and stuffed animals, and organic baby bath products.

It's Only Natural was started by Courtney Fuchs, the owner, out of her passion for creating a cleaner, healthier and more sustainable world.  She had made many eco-conscious changes in her own life and environment from buying a hybrid car to switching to non-chemical household cleaners and all natural lawn care. When she learned how polluting conventional cotton crops are (most polluting crop in the US), she tentatively looked around at what was being offered in organic fabrics worried the choices would not be very stylish. She was delighted to find beautiful fashions, fabulous craftsmanship, great styles and lots of color! It has been her joy to share these beautiful clothes with her customers.

Courtney loves to get her customers excited about all the eco-choices they can make at her shop and in their lifestyles!  She has a weekly to bi-weekly email that goes out to her customers not only highlighting all the new arrivals at the shop but also offering "eco-tips" - simple, convenient eco-choices everyone can make. To receive the emails, just go to the website and click on the Contact Us page and send her an email. You will enjoy her lighthearted style - no guilt, just fun!
