Established in 1985, American Construction of Kansas City is an owner-operated company specializing in residential interiors and exteriors. We use only the best material approved by regional codes.

 American Construction is a full service construction company,         While specializing in interior Design / Build Remodeling of,(Basments,Kitchen,Bathrooms).

American Construction has all the necessary skills for room additions,whole house remodels, and outdoor kitchens, as well as Custom Home construction.

The Client Experience 

American Construction Client starts their remodeling experience with the first client meeting. At this meeting American Constrution will sit down with the client and listen to the wants and needs and establish a baseline budget for the project.

 The client should be prepared for this inital discussion with a general idea of what they want to accomplish with the project. Major material selectins such as flooring,counter tops, colors,name brands and type of finish ect,.

These selections don't have to be finalized at this point but having a general direction wll help with creating the design and a budget.

 After all the information that is gatherd at the first meeting is combined to create an initial design. A second meeting is scheduled to walkthrough the design and estimated cost.

The statement of work ensures that everyone knows exactly what the project entails and what the estimated cost will be. Changes are common before the project starts. Sometimes a third meeting is required in the design process.

Once design and estimated cost are agreed to a contract is signed. At this point a project start date will be set, a project schedule will be given to the client and a deposit will be collected.

This deposit guarantees a place on our schedule and enables American Construction to secure any and all building permints.

Once construction starts there will be weekly communications with the client at set times for the duration of the project. The job site is kept in a " broom swept " condition and every effort is made to protect the existing finished spaces.

A final walk through with the client is done at the end of project.          To ensure every detail of the project has been completed.

Ater the job completion a follow up phone call is made to the client where we walk through our brief customer service survey. These surveys are used to Improve our processes so the we can achieve the highest levels of customer satisfaction.

"Peace & Goodwill" Award for volunteering to oversee the assembly of the Bob Medill memorial gazebo, located at Weatherby Lake, MO.

Community Involvement:

• Worked with Harvesters Food Bank
• 2 years involvement with the Christmas in October of Kansas City project
• Volunteered on the construction of a memorial gazebo.
