Arbor Creek Animal Hospital offers high quality, affordable veterinary care, boarding and grooming for dogs, cats, small animals (rabbits, ferrets, guinea pigs, sugar gliders, etc.) and exotic species (reptiles and birds). We have a very modern facility, along with advanced equipment that enables us to offer you a wide range of products and services.

Preventative Care

We offer new puppy and kitten exams, vaccinations, deworming and monthly flea, tick & heartworm prevention. We also stress the need for annual exams for all pets and semi-annually for senior pets. We can discuss your individual pet’s needs and assist you in the right choice of diet and preventative medicine along with other needs each pet may have. Each pet is as individual as we are. It is important to get to know and trust your veterinarian.

Dentistry

Good dental health is crucial to your pet’s health. Dental disease not only causes bad breath, but also leads to heart, kidney, liver and lung problems. We offer dental exams, cleanings, x-rays, tooth extractions and home dental care products.

Surgery

Dr. Tarrant is a very skilled surgeon. He takes pride in the surgical procedures he performs. A thorough exam, including blood work, is performed prior to surgery. Pain management is also crucial to your pets comfort and healing. We perform spays, neuters, declaws, growth removals, fracture repairs and cruciate surgeries along with many others.

Holistic Veterinary Care/Acupuncture and Herbal Therapy

Dr. Tarrant is one of only a couple certified veterinary acupuncturists in the Kansas City area. Acupuncture and herbal therapy works very well for many conditions including chronic ear infections and arthritis. Supplementing traditional veterinary medicine with acupuncture and herbs has proven to be a very powerful combination.

Dr. Brozman is a 1986 graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Brozman is a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, has over 10 years experience with Chinese Herbal Medicine, provides Veterinary Chiropractic care, Cranio Sacral therapy and homotocicology.

Boarding

We offer boarding for dogs, cats and reptiles. Spaces book up fast for the holidays, reserve your space early! We take dogs on several daily walks and we give the cats some time to roam in the condo area.

Grooming

We offer full grooming services. Our bath & basics includes a bath, nail trim, gland expression, cleaning of ears, blow dry and brush out. Our groomer has over 20 years experience and is excellent with breed specific cuts, summer cuts, puppy cuts or taking down detailed preferences from you. Teeth brushing and nail painting is also available. Grooming is by appointment only.
